Si è spento a soli 40 anni Alessandro Talotti, l’ex altista campione italiano che da tempo lottava contro un brutto tumore

L’altista originario di Udine, Alessandro Talotti, è morto questa notte a soli 40 anni, lasciando la moglie e il figlio Elio di pochi mesi. La notizia arriva proprio da Silvia Stibilj, sua compagna di vita ed ex campionessa di pattinaggio artistico a rotelle. Talotti è stato uno dei più grandi campioni di salto in alto italiano e nell’ultimo anno aveva più volte raccontato tramite i suoi social la sua lotta contro il cancro. Prima di ammalarsi, l’atleta azzurro originario di Udine aveva partecipato a ben due Olimpiadi: Atene 2004 e Pechino 2008. Sebbene avesse vinto tantissime medagli nel corso della sua carriera, forse la vittoria più grande l’ha ottenuta non solo quando è nato circa sei mesi fa suo figlio Elio, ma anche quando si è sposato i 7 maggio, neanche dieci giorni fa.

La lotta di Alessandro Talotti contro una malattia terribile

Alessandro Talotti non ha mai voluto nascondere la propria malattia e ha cercato di avere un atteggiamento sempre propositivo verso le cure. Sebbene non fosse semplice, in un’intervista rilasciata al Corriere della Sera ha affermato: “I medici mi chiedevano ogni volta se me la sentivo di affrontare un nuovo ciclo di chemio, io rispondevo di sì. Se la tua vita è stata superare un’asticella a due metri e venti, il tuo corpo diventa così sensibile da percepire e amplificare anche il minimo fastidio. Il lavoro che il saltatore fa su se stesso è annullare quel dolore, risparmiare le forze e trovare segnali positivi in altre parti del corpo sottraendo energia alla negatività. Non ho mai mollato, ho superato anche gli incubi prima di entrare in sala terapie, uguali a quelli irrazionali che ti vengono di fronte a un’asticella troppo alta e ti paralizzano“.
