Elena Sofia Ricci torna a parlare degli abusi subìti quando era poco più che una bambina: una ferita che a distanza di tanti anni resta ancora aperta. 

Non tutti sanno che Elena Sofia Ricci, una delle attrice più amate e apprezzate nel panorama italiano, a soli 12 anni è stata vittima di gravi abusi sessuali. L’artista ha iniziato a parlarne solo di recente e ora, in un’intervista rilasciata a Elle, è tornata a soffermarsi su quel triste episodio.

L’esperienza che ha segnato Elena Sofia Ricci

“Per molti anni l’ho negato a me stessa – ha confessato Elena Sofia Ricci riferendosi alla violenza subìta -, non potevo parlare con mamma, lui era un conoscente, mi sono sentita sporca e in colpa, sono arrivate le insicurezze e la malinconia. Quella parte di te resta lì congelata e cerchi di non guardarla”.

Col tempo Elena Sofia Ricci ha imparato a vivere nonostante quel peso sulle spalle, anche se da giovane è stata a lungo insicura e incapace di accettarsi. “Mi trovo più bella adesso di quando avevo 20 o 30 anni – ha spiegato -. Ero carina eppure non lo sapevo. Oggi posso uscire senza trucco, da ragazza non facevo un passo senza fard e rossetto”.

A 30 anni l’attrice ha iniziato un percorso di analisi per curare l’occhio pigro e solo dopo aver risolto quel problema e ritrovato fiducia in se stessa, a quarant’anno suonati, è riuscita a vedersi bella. Oggi è una donna che si prende molto cura di sé, rinunciando a fumare, cambiando alimentazione, facendo palestra e inseguendo le sue passioni. Sulla possibilità di ricorrere alla chirurgia estetica, tuttavia, si dice contraria con una battuta: “Sempre detta d’accordo sulla chirurgia plastica praticata dalle mie colleghe perché prima o poi una vecchia naturale servirà, no?”.
