Mahmood, la triste confessione a Verissimo: “E’ un momento terribile”

Ai microfoni di Verissimo Mahmood difende il Ddl Zan e parla anche della sua situazione personale, dicendosi “fortunato grazie alla mia famiglia”.     

Mentre cresce l’attesa per l’uscita del prossimo album di Mahmood, il giovane cantante si è raccontato nello studio di Verissimo, ospite di Silvia Toffanin. L’artista ha voluto innanzitutto dire la sua sul tema dell’omotransfobia e sull’approvazione del Ddl Zan: “Sono stato fortunato – ha detto – perché sono cresciuto in una famiglia aperta mentalmente che ha saputo capire molte situazioni che altre non sarebbero riuscite a comprendere”.

La confessione più intima di Mahmood

Sempre a proposito del Ddl Zan, al centro di un acceso dibattito nei giorni scorsi, Mahmood ha osservato: “Questa legge deve essere approvata per difendere soprattutto le persone che non possono farlo da sole. Tutti devono sentirsi sicuri nella nostra società”. E ancora: “Esiste una violenza basata anche sull’ignoranza: aggredire due ragazzi che si baciano in metro o essere cacciati da casa perché si ama una persona dello stesso sesso è fortemente sbagliato”.

Silvia Toffanin gli ha poi chiesto se sia innamorato, e il cantante ha risposto: “È un momento terribile. Sono in una via di mezzo tra lo stare bene e lo stare male. Faccio fatica a capire veramente le emozioni che provo in questo periodo, sono confuso”. Parole che hanno subito messo in allarme i fan del cantante vincitore del Festival di Sanremo edizione 2018.
