Prima di togliersi la vita, il calciatore Federico Zini è stato protagonista di un efferato delitto: aveva ucciso la propria fidanzata
Il 26 maggio 2018 la cittadina San Miniato, in provincia di Pisa, è stata spettatrice impotente di un terribile omicidio. Infatti Federico Zini, calciatore, ha prima picchiato e poi ucciso con una pistola l’ex fidanzata Elisa Amato, questo prima di togliersi lui stesso la vita. All’epoca il giovane aveva 25 anni e sembrava avesse davanti a sé una importante carriera come calciatore. Il giovane, dopo aver giocato all’estero in diverse squadre, era riapprodato in Italia nella AC Tuttocuoio, una squadra di Serie D della società di Ponte a Egola, sempre vicino Pisa. Durante la sua carriera aveva avuto anche un brutto infortunio e in quel periodo la fidanzara, Elisa, gli era stata anche vicino.

Federico Zini era una ragazzo solare, così lo descriveva il padre del giovane, che aveva iniziato la propria carriera calcistica partendo dalle giovanili dell’Empoli e giocando nel ruolo di attaccante. Dopo aver dimostrato di saperci fare con il pallone, era passato prima a giocare in Lega Pro e poi in serie D. Successivamente aveva deciso di provare ad andare all’estero: questo lo aveva portato a giocare in giro per il mondo, finendo in paesi come la Mongolia, Malta, le Filippine e la Bulgaria. Nel periodo fuori aveva subito un brutto infortunio che lo ha convinto a rientrare in Italia, dove aveva ricominciato a giocare in Serie D.

I genitori, dopo la tragedia che ha sconvolto la loro famiglia, avevano parlato del loro figlio specificando come fosse un ragazzo solare, sereno e che non ci fossero state avvisaglie. Il padre aveva detto: “Mio figlio era un ragazzo solare, aveva rinnovato il contratto con il Tuttocuoio, aveva prenotato le vacanze in Sardegna, tutto sembrava andare bene“. La madre, invece, aveva affermato: “A noi non sembrava che tra di loro potessero esserci problemi particolari. Mio figlio non solo era sereno ma posso dire che era solare in questi giorni e domani (26/05/2018, ndr) sarebbe stato il suo compleanno, aveva già telefonato ai nonni per festeggiarlo con loro. Sì: non c’era stata alcuna avvisaglia“.
