Oggi, a quasi 140 anni dalla sua invenzione, lo scopo del vibratore potrebbe cambiare nuovamente. Marisa Laurito, per esempio, ha cercato di usarlo per un motivo completamente nuovo: per togliere l’erre moscia. “Non l’ho comprato perché piaceva a me, ma perché sono andata da una logopedista che aveva un apparecchio che costava quattro milioni” ha spiegato la donna, invitata da Pietro Gomez al programma La Confessione. “Naturalmente io all’epoca non avevo i soldi per comprarmi questa macchina”.

“La erre moscia viene dal fatto che la punta della mia lingua è pigra, non vibra” ha spiegato la Laurito. “Questa macchina aveva una linguetta che doveva muovere questa puntina. Non avevo questi soldi e dissi: ‘Come faccio?'”. La risposta, sorprendentemente, le è stata consigliata proprio dalla dottoressa: “lei mi rispose: ‘compri un vibratore… lo mette sotto la punta della lingua due ore al giorno‘”.

Le cose però non erano così semplici: trovare un vibratore per Marisa Laurito non è stato affatto facile. Raccontantolo, la donna ride. “Io entravo nelle farmacie, perché all’epoca non c’erano i sexy shop, e dicevo: ‘senta, per favore, mi deve dare un’aspirina (per prenderla larga), un alcol e un… vibratore”.
