In queste settimane stanno girando diverse truffe su WhatsApp che hanno come oggetto la vaccinazione contro il covid-19.

WhatsAppCon la diffusione della pandemia, i truffatori del web hanno trovato terreno fertile e nuove idee per ingannare diversi utenti. Lo scorso anno, in pieno lockdown, si sono moltiplicati i messaggi riguardanti presunte promozioni da parte di catene di supermercati per aiutare gli italiani in un momento di difficoltà. Molti, spinti dall’esigenza, sono caduti nel tranello ed è stato molto importante il lavoro svolto dai siti d’informazione e dal governo per mettere in guardia i cittadini dal credere a promozioni diffuse tramite WhatsApp.

La campagna d’informazione non è bastata per bloccare i truffatori, i quali adesso cercano di sfruttare il desiderio degli italiani di vaccinarsi al più presto per truffarli. Un paio di giorni fa la Regione Lazio si è vista costretta a smentire l’esistenza di un Open Day per le vaccinazioni, visto che erano sempre più numerose le segnalazioni di truffa avvenute tramite WhatsApp. La Regione ha chiarito che non esiste alcun Open Day ed ha invitato tutti ad informarsi solo tramite i canali ufficiali.

WhatsApp: occhio alle truffe sui vaccini

Quella è stata solo una delle truffe messe in atto in queste settimane. Da diverso tempo gli utenti WhatsApp ricevono messaggi da presunti funzionari dell’Asl che chiedono di compilare un form per potersi prenotare per la vaccinazione. Ovviamente si tratta di una truffa, visto che la campagna di vaccinazione non viene portata avanti tramite WhatsApp, ma tramite dei portali ufficiali in cui dev’essere il singolo cittadino ad entrare per prenotarsi.

Lo scopo dei truffatori è quello di ottenere da voi con l’inganno delle informazioni sensibili che potranno girare ad alcuni call center o quello di rubarvi dati allo scopo di poter accedere ai vostri conti. Qualora vi arrivasse un simile messaggio dunque, cancellatelo immediatamente e non inserite nessun dato personale.
